My journey started with Bboxx on 6th August 2018, when I joined as an intern in our Group Marketing team, along with Maud Duprat. Fresh out of university, my aim was to learn as much as I could and build my skills in the profession of marketing. I have been a Bboxxer for three years now, and Bboxx is not less than a home to me.
My first project as an intern was to create a 2018 product brochure and build marketing analytics (Google analytics, social media monitoring, etc.) For someone hungry for growth, there is no better place than Bboxx. From creating a product brochure in 2018 to being part of the brand development project and starting the first dedicated function of Product Marketing in 2020, I have come a long way because Bboxx always empowered me to aim for the stars.
Other than being a Product Marketing Manager, I am very fortunate to be involved in other areas of business as well –which includes managing the internal communication strategy and the culture program for London HQ. The amount of exposure I got in only three years is tremendous. Each day comes with new learnings. Each day comes with a new opportunity to unlock my potential.
The most defining moment in my career is the day I met one of our customers for the very first time. The sight of a bPower50 powering lights gave me goosebumps and it made me more ambitious to being part of our mission of ending global energy poverty. It was a moment full of emotions. Every time I leave the office, I look forward to coming back the next day and continue to unlock potential. Even after three years, every time I look at our engineers working on PCBs and electronics, I feel like a kid in a science lab –amazed and excited. What makes Bboxx special is its people because we all share the same ambition and enthusiasm to transform lives and unlock potential through access to energy. Being a Bboxxer is one of my life’s proudest achievements. My dad always told me “Son, sky is the limit,” and at Bboxx, it is.
