We founded Bboxx 12 years ago with the aim of solving energy poverty. We started with ‘out of the box’ solar power innovations that have helped thousands of communities across Africa access clean electrical energy for the first time.
Bboxx has now become a super platform, expanding our technology and financing solutions across a wide range of different sectors, including clean cooking, clean water, smartphones, cash loans and e-mobility to transform lives and unlock the potential of communities, cities, and countries.
Our business is grounded in championing the economic development of Africa. We are aligned with COP’s critical goals, with our work directly contributing to 11 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, positively impacting the lives of more than 3.5 million people in 10 operating markets.
