Chiedza Mutseta

In the dynamic world of finance and operations, I am a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience, currently serving as the Head of Africa Finance Operations at Bboxx. My journey with Bboxx started in 2019 when I took on the role of Global Head of Internal Audit, pioneering the establishment of the Internal Audit function for the entire Bboxx Group.

When I joined, Bboxx was in 4 markets and has since grown to 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa which has been a great journey filled with exciting challenges and growth. Transforming lives and unlocking potential through access to energy. To cap it off with a system migration change to SAPbyDesign. Transitioned roles to Head of Africa Finance operations, which is a true testament how Bboxx also delivers on growth opportunities. I play a pivotal part in steering the financial landscape across our OpCos’. My responsibilities include ensure we are delivering timely monthly reporting across the group, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budget co-ordination. The finance team has come a long way and continues to strive to deliver strategic insight to reach on our business goals while cross collaborating with many different teams and time zones.

Along the way I got fully embedded in the Bboxx way including being Culture Ambassador for Rwanda where bringing together and ensuring we actively foster behaviors aligned with our company’s values creating a vibrant and inclusive workplace. We surely created plenty good memories.

My journey is marked by diverse experiences, including roles with 2 of the big 4 professional services firms KPMG New Zealand and PwC Zimbabwe. From leading audit engagements to managing complex financial risk assessments, my expertise has been honed through a rich tapestry of experiences.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I enjoy playing tennis and traveling.
