“Bboxx Changes Everything in Rwanda”: Feature from Power Africa.
30 January 2018 – “Bboxx Changes Everything in Rwanda” is the title of a new blog post from Power Africa looking at the impact of Bboxx’s solar home systems on customers in Rwanda. The article explains how light and power have helped a chicken farm to flourish and how it provides security and extra hours of light to work for a family.
Claudine Banvuganumva and her family were one of the Bboxx customers to be interviewed and featured in the article.
The piece goes on to highlight the fast paced growth of the solar home system industry in Rwanda, but raises the issue of financing these systems which is still a constraint to the electrification of rural communities living off grid.
